THREE NEW PRODUCTS FROM P4 LIMITED EXPAND THE HORIZON OF EMERGENCY LIGHTING

P4's status as leading manufacturers of innovative emergency lighting is consolidated with the launch of exciting new products, packed with innovative value added features and setting new standards for the appearance and functionality of emergency lighting.

MWEB plus – an ideal compact solution for smaller premises

P4 has expanded its range of acclaimed FASTELink MWEB internet/intranet interface units with MWEB plus - developed specifically for highly cost effective remote monitoring of smaller installations with up to 100 emergency luminaires. This new compact system does not require a separate collector or interface box, and can monitor the installed emergency luminaires using intuitive displays and menus with user defined access password controls.

These features, together with a simplicity of operation, minimal energy utilisation and full permanent log of system activities to BSEN 62034 makes it the ideal solution for emergency lighting management in complexes of remote premises such as university campuses,, area health centres, distributed hospitals or education premises as well as smaller public buildings and multiple occupancy dwellings.

Containing all the features of P4's ultra reliable FASTEL technology, MWEB plus can be configured to send emails and text messages to maintenance staff to advise of any fault, can be linked into a BMS system, and can be set to interrogate an emergency lighting system anywhere in the world.

Stylish emergency lighting steps up a gear with P4 Stairlight

P4's new Stairlight emergency escape lighting system discretely incorporates high output low consumption white LEDs within the staircase handrail to provide unrivalled safety, security and conformity. This revolutionary package brings aesthetic appeal to difficult to fit areas such as atriums, making unsightly emergency luminaires fitted to walls and ceilings a thing of the past.

The result is a high level of illuminance and outstanding lighting uniformity which combine to eliminate unlit areas on stair treads and half landings often caused by conventional emergency lighting. This adds up to improved safety in the workplace, public buildings, hotels, leisure centres and prestigious homes, making unsightly emergency luminaires fitted to walls and ceilings a thing of the past. Stairlight is fitted with P4's FASTEL fully automatic self-testing technology.

Smart choice of new emergency LEDs from P4

The new family of stylish emergency lighting LED luminaires are a major addition to P4's Design range of fittings. The aesthetically pleasing MonoLED, TriLED and QuadLED models achieve a smaller footprint and superior energy efficient performance for specific locations and for safer evacuation along escape routes and in open areas.

TriLED is designed with 3 precisely controlled LED beams from each luminaire to achieve a minimum of 1 Lux along escape routes in a more economic and effective manner, whilst benefiting also from the greater integrity of the 3 sources of light in each luminaire. For open areas P4 has developed the QuadLED version with 4 wide spread LED beams for optimum light distribution and excellent uniformity throughout areas where there is no defined escape route.
MonoLED is available for the illumination of specific locations such as fire points, first aid points and refuge points in accordance with BS5266 Part 10 recommendations, which can be identified with optional coloured covers.

Again all models incorporate P4's acclaimed FASTEL fully automatic self testing technology. Remote monitoring and testing of all models to an internet connected PC is available through P4's FASTELink systems.
