'P4 has chosen ARC 2011 (stand number M13A) for the debut of its stylish new Omega and PI designer ranges of LED-based emergency lighting and information signs.
The ranges have been especially developed to meet the aesthetic and creative needs of architects and designers who, for too long have contended with outdated grey box signs and outmoded luminaire illumination technology.
Peter Warner, founder and chairman of P4, the UK's leading manufacturer of self testing emergency lighting and exit signs says: "Emergency lighting and exit signs have traditionally been treated as commodity items, manufactured and installed to comply with safety legislation, often with little consideration about how they look after installation.
Our new LED-based Omega stainless steel range alleviates this with attractive coloured detail finishes including white, green or brass rather than the 'any colour you like providing it's grey' approach. We have also pushed the boundaries from a design point of view with different combinations of profile sections and end caps."

Our Pi range of sign luminaires is also LED-based with a novel oval body shape and wide range of suspended edge lit information and fire safety sign legends available. the Pi range is similarly available in attractive coloured finishes to enhance its versatility.
A particularly appealing aspect of both Omega and Pi is their adaptability to varying applications and locations. Designers can specify different information legends to suit a particular project, but with an 'across the board' corporate design theme and exterior finish. This gives a truly integrated look and opens up major opportunities for architects.
So, why LED's?
Typically an LEDs provide a service life of at least 50,000 hours which dramatically reduces maintenance costs. They also give greater integrity of light with even light distribution whilst their compact size encourages greater design possibilities.
Using LED signs can save thousands of pounds so this launch is particularly timely and beneficial for businesses, educational establishments, hospitals, care homes, hotels, public buildings – in fact anywhere with usage, large or small
FASTEL self testing takes the stress out of compliance:
P4's unique market-leading FASTEL Fully Automatic Self Testing Emergency Lighting system is the ultimate in self testing technology and is available in stand alone, FASTELwatch or FASTELink options.
Automatic Regular self testing and fault reporting ensures that the occupier complies with their legal obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 without incurring sometimes substantial testing labour costs.
