P4's FASTELink M-Web wins the approval of national sports facility

Loughborough University's National Badminton Centre has, following extensive trails, upgraded its existing FASTELink self testing computer addressable emergency lighting system with a state of the art FASTELink M-Web to provide the most accurate and convenient remote monitoring procedure through its Local Area Network.

The University's Maintenance Contracts Engineer, Graham Wood, chose the FASTELink M-Web monitoring system from P4 as the most proven, reliable, cost effective and flexible self test computer addressable solution for this large indoor centre. The Centre is regularly used by Olympic medallists Donna Kellogg (who jointly opened the facility), Nathan Robertson & Gail Emms.
Graham Wood was attracted to its minimal maintenance regime, its exceptional reliability and flexibility. FASTELink M-Web can access the FASTELink emergency lighting system via their installed LAN, and hence from any PC installed on the LAN.
He explains: "We wanted a system with a unique addressable location, where any faulty fitting could be instantly identified without the time consuming need to refer to drawings. FASTELink M-Web seemed perfect on paper, and we were equally delighted by its performance.
" Administration is greatly simplified, as FASTELink M-Web software gives us an individual report on the performance of each fitting, and when it last did a self-test and a current status report."
